at days end .....

no need for life-guards on this deserted beach
all was quiet as the sun silently slipped below the horizon

simply messing about in boats .....

~   Carrick Hill Gardens   ~

I agree with mole's friend Ratty the water-rat who says
"there is nothing-absolutely nothing -
half so much worth doing
as simply messing about in boats"

morning sun alighting on spent twigs ..........

I have been watching this little jewelled coronet
of intertwined twigs - wondering if it was per-chance the
makings of a blackbird nest, and in the observation have delighted
in the myriad of shapes & colours created by early morning sun-bursts
alighting on my autumnal glory-vines
is there anything prettier than
morning sun on spent twigs  ~

at the flour mill .....

 ~   Bridgewater Mill   ~
Once a thriving flour mill - now converted to an upmarket restaurant
but the wheels on this old mill keep turning
 albeit very slowly
Revolution not only speaks of mutiny, revolt and rebellion
but about "instances of revolving"
rotating, circling and twirling
and yes!  amid the circling I managed to capture this interesting
aged window in the Flour-Mill surrounds

while visiting the gardens of Carrick Hill
I couldn't help but smile at the raincoat
billowing atop this vintage Rolls Royce
Nothing left to chance at this wedding!
